KEVIN J. MURPHY has practiced law for 28 years, as a staff attorney for a
downtown  law  firm, and as a sole  practitioner in the community.   MURPHY
has worked in the private  sector his  entire  career and  has a broad range of
experience  representing  his  clients  in  matters  important  to  them.   Such
experience  includes  extensive  jury  trial,  experience  in  injury/death cases,
and  matters  concerning  decedents  estates,  real  estate,  and  misdemeanors.


KEVIN J. MURPHY's work experience includes jobs as a machine operator,
dock/warehouse  worker,  and  truck  helper  during  college  and  law  school.
MURPHY is one of ten children and now the father of four.

                                    "Grace Period Voter Registration" Ends January 26, 2010
•   Eligible voters, 18 or older, who missed the standard January 5th deadline for voter registration, but still wish to cast
     a ballot in the Primary Election, have until January 26, 2010 to participate in "Grace Period Voter Registration".
•   Any voter utilizing "Grace Period Voter Registration" must register in person at the Board of Elections headquarters.
•   City of Chicago residents must visit the downtown Election Board offices at 69 W. Washington Street, on the Sixth Floor
     to register by January 26.
•   Suburban Cook County residents can visit the downtown Election Board offices or any of the County's five other offices
     to register by January 26.


                                                                        Absentee Ballots

•   If you know of someone who will be out of town and in need of an absentee ballot, especially college students or military,
    voters can apply through the Cook County Board of Elections website or the Chicago Board of Elections website.
•   Voters do not need a reason or excuse to vote early.


                                                     Early Voting: January 11 - 28, 2010

•   Early voting locations for Chicago residents
•   Early voting locations for Suburban Cook County residents
•   All early voting locations will be open January 11 – 28, Monday thru Saturday, from 9am to 5pm.
•   Again, voters do not need a reason or excuse to vote early.


                                                                         So Remember…

     January 26th to be eligible to case a ballot in the Primary Election.
•   Apply for an absentee ballot now if you are unable to vote in person on February 2 or participate in early voting.
